· No cement runs – too much time on a cement surface can hurt the pads of your pet’s feet, cause bone/joint discomfort, and lead to callouses on their elbows. Our indoor facility is carpeted and the fenced outdoor run area is natural grass and small smooth stone.
· One-on-one attention – Every guest is a family pet and is treated as such. Patting, scratching, petting, speaking to, playing with…all the attention of home.
· Family owned – The Turgeon family has operated Canine Works since 2002. They had a custom-designed facility built next to their home and use part of their backyard for the outdoor run.
· Good enough for you, good enough for them – The Turgeon’s own pets share both the indoor and outdoor facilities. They treat your pets like their own.
· Outdoor play time is safe – Mingling during outdoor play time is limited to those guests already familiar with each other. Outdoor play is rotated between guests who have not “been introduced” yet.
· All outdoor play is personally monitored.
· If your pet is on medication, Canine Works will administer them at no extra charge.

· Puppies, adults, and geriatrics are welcome.
